Anita Brown Jazz Orchestra will read through Anita's 2026 NYSCA Commission entitled Slices of the Gradient at an Open Rehearsal Reading Session. The piece was inspired by three specific photographs in which the color water and other components spans the color gradient from black to white. In addition, there is no human communication or interaction in any of the photos. All photos are by Jeffrey Hubbell. The first is shown here while the others can be seen under the PHOTOS tab on this site.
